Enivornmental Responsibility
The fashion industry is a leading cause of pollution due in large part to an increase of cheap, disposable clothes ending up in landfills.
The average American now generates 82 pounds of textile waste each year. We design our clothes in timeless styles with quality materials to stand the test of time. Our hope is for our clothes to be worn time and again before being passed down, not thrown away.
99% of cotton is grown with chemicals and uses 25% of the world’s insecticides.
Hope & Henry prioritizes the use of certified organic cotton to reduce the amount of chemicals and pesticides that can negatively affect farmers, their families and our planet.
The fashion industry is known for water consumption and pollution.
We continually work with fabric mills and factories to reduce water usage and waste, and partner with fabric mills that utilize state of the art water treatment facilities enabling water to be recycled rather than dumped.
We are not only earth-friendly, but people-friendly too.
We created a business model that allows us to price our clothes affordably, making sustainable clothing accessible to all, not just the few who can afford them. While we know there is a long way to go, we believe we can make a difference on the impact fashion has on future generations, one step at a time. We hope you will join us.
